A while back, I had posted an article or two that mentioned a documentary being made for the History Channel about cannibals. Now there is more news to report. The official Alferd Packer look-a-like, Mike from Lake City, will be featured in it. He sent this info to Jason McHugh:
Just a little note to remind you that the History Channel will premier the original documentary "Cannibal Instinct" on Sunday evening, March 13. They sent me a postcard promoting the show, it even has a picture of me as Alferd Packer! How cool is that? Sincerely yours, Mike. http://www.geocities.com/godmonster/
According to the History Channel's site, it will air this Sunday (3/13) @ 8PM. Check your local listings.

Remember the high school production of the Cannibal! stage play that was canceled? Well, they have now officially found a venue, and have set dates for the performance. The show is being directed by Zach Singer and Lara Hochuli. Here is some information straight from the horse's mouth (Zach, that is):
"Cannibal will be put on as a benefit show at Zuzi's theater on University and fifth ave. in Tucson. All proceeds will go to the Matlou Fund helping kids in Botswana Africa who are dying from AIDS. The dates are April 15th at 8pm, and 16th at 3pm, 8pm and 10pm. We have been fortunate enough to be underwritten by the Matlou Ranch Foundation and now have professional sets costumes and choreography. For more information go to arizonaonstage.org."
Also, a new fan art picture by LoPrEsTi43 has been added to the Fans page. If you would like to contribute to the page, simply send me an e-mail.

About a month ago, MTV2 started sporting a "new look." Whether or not anyone noticed isn't the point. Actually, it sort of is. Someone did notice - and good thing, because it seems that MTV2 has bought a collection of film clips from Troma to be aired throughout the day, as part of their new look. Included in this collection, are clips from Cannibal! So, if you happen to catch a clip of Cannibal! while channel-surfing, this would be the reason. Thanks to onlymeee from the forums for bringing this to my attention.
Also, thanks to the help of KLMnumbers, there is another new addition to Carrots & Peas: Music Theory. This is for anyone who has ever wondered what they're actually saying during that whole music theory argument in Cannibal! Enjoy!

Sorry about the lack of updates. Hopefully I'll be able to make up for it in the next couple weeks.
For now, I've just added a couple DYNs to Carrots & Peas: French and Wheelbarrow.
I'm also going to plug the Forums. In the Cannibal section, we've just created a subforum specifically for questions for our VIPs (those involved with the movie). So come on over and ask some questions!
