This is MY HOUSE! That's right... OK, so I've added a new Cannibal!-Orgazmo connection: My House!

This connection was brought up in the Forum. Special thanks to nobby, ManlyMan (aka Will), and Rick.

I have a feeling this is going to be a big update - mostly random stuff.

Recently, there was an auction on eBay for original Cannibal! and Orgazmo T-shirts. The Cannibal! shirt actually says, "Alferd Packer: The Musical," because as many of you know (and should know), Cannibal! was originally called Alferd Packer: The Musical before Troma picked it up. Unfortunately, I didn't win the auction, but Dan (the jackass seller...heh) still sent me a couple of nice pictures of the Cannibal! shirt. You can check them out in the Pictures section (or just click the thumbnails below).

Amazon.com has a new search feature that's really great. I'm not much of a fan of Amazon, but this is really cool. It searches the actual text of over 120,000 books. Amazon also lets you see the pages where the text was found. If you know what you're doing, you could possibly read a whole book using that feature. =)

I did a search for Cannibal! The Musical, and came across Lloyd Kaufman's book, "Make Your Own Damn Movie!: Secrets of a Renegade Director." I'm sure some of you have read it, but for those of you who haven't, he mentions Cannibal! after talking about the difficulty of getting Troma movies on network or cable TV. He then continues:

Perhaps the most egregious example of this in recent years is the fact that Trey Parker's Cannibal! The Musical has never aired on Comedy Central (co-owned by Viacom and HBO). South Park is one of the only successful shows in the history of Comedy Central. Even a chimp would realize that programming the first film by the Academy Award-nominated creator of South Park would be a good move. Well, apparently Comedy Central is programmed by mammals with less intelligence than chimps, because we've been told time and again that they have absolutely no interest in airing Cannibal! Cannibal! has sold a huge number of units on DVD alone. To an independent like Troma that has to fight tooth and nail to get product into video stores, a movie like Cannibal! is a major success. Cannibal! The Musical is Troma's Lord of the Rings*

* Of course, Cannibal! has much better music than Lord of the Rings and has fewer elves, ogres, and magic pixies.

I have always wondered when Cannibal! would air on Comedy Central. Doesn't it seem like common sense for them to show it?! To be fair though, I wouldn't say that Comedy Central is "programmed by mammals with less intelligence than chimps," because they have had some great shows - but you have to wonder why they have no interest in it.

One last thing that I found interesting: on the DVD and VHS covers for Cannibal!, have you noticed the quote from The New York Times, "Refreshingly ludicrous?" Ever wonder if that is taken out of context? Well, here's your answer, the whole sentence:

It's all pretty stupid, but at times, there are refreshingly ludicrous notes that even people old enough to see this movie without a guardian can appreciate.

Oops! Out of context. Oh well, as long as it's legal. =)

Todd Oetelaar submitted a picture for the Fan Art section.

And I added a South Park section for the Links page.

One more thing, I've had a secret page on this site for a few weeks now, and it seems like only one person has found it. You get treated to something special if you do find it. ;)

Long time, no update. Sorry, I've been pretty busy. But, you're in for a treat today.

Freakin Fay sent me a great Cannibal! - Orgazmo - BASEketball connection: The Silent F-Bomb.

Thanks to Big Will from the South Park Scriptorium, I now have the Cannibal!-Fantasia connection.

Also, check out the Fan Art Tumu created, using the create-a-character program over at SouthParkStudios.com.

Thanks to Broman, I found out that the site was sort of mentioned at FARK.com:

"Make a tasty AudioEdit with this veritable buffet of Cannibal: The Musical sounds,"

followed by a link to a now defunct page. But all is well, because it will still lead them here. So, for those of you looking for sounds, look no further: Songs & Sounds.

Check out some of the AudioEdits they have at the FARK.com's forums.

I just gave the site a new design. Hopefully everyone will agree it's quite an improvement. Let me know what you think.

Also, there's a new addition to the Fans section: paige mastr's fanfic, The Silence of the Shpadoinkle - it's 'Cannibal! meets Hannibal!' =D Check it out!
