The drum rhythm heard while the miners are at the "Indian" camp is the very same rhythm heard during the opening credit sequence of Shichinin no samurai (Seven Samurai). Some might think it's just a coincidence, but it does make sense that Trey would intentionally do it considering his love for all things Japanese. =) Thanks to Guy Mariner Tucker for the info.
